Freedom?

Freedom, the great divide
the unknown truth, the intangible.
The lure of the opressed
... the fear of the opressor

No one is free.
Nothing is free.
Nothing ever was
& nothing ever will be.

To manifest a notion
of unalienable rights
is to fight the devil.
Dante was right!

They feed us true lies
& we swallow it whole.
Fear is the food
of many I know.

But through the mist
a welcoming light!
It must be freedom.
So calm, so bright.

Give me a chance
Ill tell you what I know.
If it's freedom you want,
you reap what you sow.
